This classic Rhône style blend combines Grenache, Mourvedre and Shiraz, and is aged 10 months in neutral vessels to preserve the distinct varietal characteristics. The result is a youthful wine with pronounced fruit flavours, including red fruit, subtle spice, and robust earthiness. As with all Mimosa wines, production was overseen by the incredibly talented Lourens van der Westhuizen of Arendsig Vineyards.
Tip: Decant for at least 2 hours prior to drinking. It will also do well with ageing.
