Buitenverwachting

An estate in the heart of Constantia and steeped in history. Buitenverwachting translates to ‘Beyond Expectations’. Once part of the first winery in the Cape, the Hamburgs bought the estate in 1980, gave it new splendour and revived the wine cultivation as only the best vines were planted. Winemaking is overseen by Brad Paton in conjunction with Viticulturist Peter Reynolds.
