The idea was born from the time of COVID lockdowns, when the South African
government imposed a series of bans on alcohol sales and exports, which posed
a significant challenge to producers across the region who were unable to sell their stock. We saw this as an opportunity to support the industry and in turn offer wine lovers in Ireland the chance to explore an exceptional range of wines.

The term "Rainbow Nation" refers to South Africa's diversity of people, but it has
other meanings too. For us it means hope and excitement for a region that has time and again shown remarkable resilience.
