It’s no secret that alcohol is expensive in Ireland, wine in particular carries heavy import costs – In fact, in Ireland we pay the highest excise duty and VAT on wine in Europe; €3.20 per bottle for still, €6.40 per bottle for sparkling. Add in VAT at 23%, plus high shipping costs, and the landed cost per bottle quickly becomes eye wateringly over inflated.

We do our best to keep retail prices as fair as possible so you can still enjoy great SA wine here in Ireland.

We wanted to align our business with the modern-day winemakers of the Cape, who employ people from many different backgrounds and ethnicities, and who are fiercely resilient during challenging times, as well as excited and hopeful for the wine industry in this wonderful region.

Nationwide Delivery is normally 2 to 3 business days (We can offer next day delivery to Dublin).

We are unable to ship to international addresses (Outside Ireland).

Dublin delivery is charged at €12.

Nationwide delivery is charged at €17.

Free delivery on orders of €170 or more.

Northern Ireland delivery is charged at €17.

Note we usually ship single bottles and mixed boxes from a separate location to cases of 6, so they may arrive with two different couriers. 

Our cases of 6 will usually be delivered in their original boxes direct from our warehouse in Dublin, within 2 to 3 business days.

Our single bottles and mixed boxes will be delivered by tracked courier and dispatched from our HQ in Kildare, within 5 business days.
