Methode Cap Classique (MCC)

The French have Champagne, Italians have Prosecco, Spanish have Cava, and the South Africans have Cap Classique (MCC).

Produced using the classic 'Methode Champenoise' (same methods as champagne) by creating a second fermentation in the bottle. The term Cap Classique has been used in South Africa since 1992.

South African sparkling wine has grown in popularity, and are well known for their superior quality and excellent value for money.

Producers such as Graham Beck, Steenberg and Bon Courage have consistently been on the receiving end of high praise and accolades from the worlds top wine critics and award ceremonies respectively.
