Methode Cap Classique (MCC)

The French have Champagne, Italians have Prosecco, Spanish have Cava, and the South Africans have MCC (Methode Cap Classique).

Produced using the classic 'Methode Champenoise' (same as champagne) by creating a second fermentation in the bottle. The term Cap Classique has been used in South Africa since 1992.
