Mimosa Solus Reserve Cape Blend

A unique and beautifully smooth South African red. Known as a 'Cape Blend' due to the added Pinotage amongst traditional Bordeaux blend grapes. This rich wine boasts aromas of raspberries and rich red grapes.
The palate is balanced with fine grippy tannins and flavours of raspberry, cassis, pomegranate and red cherry.
An elegant finish with subtle hints of toasted oak.

Tip: Decant for at least 2 hours prior to drinking. It will also do well with ageing.

Grape: 50% Pinotage, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, 10% Petit Verdot

Alc: 14%

Food Match: Dishes with Lentil, Red Bean, Pinto Bean, Roasted Red Pepper, Mushrooms. Roast duck, turkey, and lean cuts of beef, or Beef Bourguignon.
