This unique blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Pinot Gris bursts with citrus flavours and an ample mouth feel, yet remarkably moderate in alcohol. A Fresh and lively wine, Miss Lucy is one of the seven nicknames given to the Red Stumpnose fish by the fisherman of the Southern Cape. Like many other marine species, the Miss Lucy has been over-exploited and is now critically endangered.

Style: Fresh, crisp and dry

Another gem from SA

Well made, a real hybrid wine using a unique blend. Citrus fresh fruit first followed by the distinct different mix of pear and stone minerals giving a dry result and yet very refreshing. Will suit all fish, salads and white meat dishes.
Nice change from a normal Sav B or Chardonnay

Another incredible SA Bordeaux Blend

I've been lucky enough now to try a number of incredible South African Reds from Rainbow Nation Wines . This Bordeaux style blend from Anthonij Rupert is the best so far and that's saying something. Big, bold and balanced! On the nose mixed red and black fruits and some leather and cedar. More of all of the above on the palate with plum, blackberry, cherry prominent and a little earth, pepper and spice. Delightful, long finish with noticeable tannins, medium acidity and medium alcohol at 14%. 94 Points

Wow what a white wine

Super Chenin and our first from Spier.
Expensive but worth every cent.
Special as it has those many dimensions a great wine must have.
Crystal clear golden yellow in glass, gentle pear on nose.
Taste is initially crisp, fresh and tart, with a slight oak.
Upfront lemon and then it it reveals a second wave of soft peach and velvety texture. Ends with mineral acidity with slight herb tang.

This wine brought me back to the warm sunny winelands in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, delicious with fish and pasta

Coffee and wine - great combination

I'm a sucker for a lovely coffee Pinotage and this is perfect. Smooth and light and such an easy drink.
