Normally associated with Rías Baixas in Spain rather than Robertson in South Africa, the owners fell in love with Albarino on their travels, and after a few years of nurturing a single bundle of vines, their vineyard has blossomed and is now well known for producing one of the best examples of this delicious wine in the Southern Hemisphere. Redolent and full bodied with apricot, nectarine and floral aromas, yet with a saline minerality and bright acidity, it’s a wine that continues to captivate us.
