On the palate, it’s plush and rounded, with silky tannins and a generous core of dark fruit, all framed by well-integrated oak and a long, polished finish.

A blend typically built around Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and a touch of Malbec, Optima delivers the structure of a classic Bordeaux with the ripeness and generosity of the Cape.
