Vergelegen GVB Red

The Flagship bordeaux style Red from Vergelegen is an outstanding wine that reflects the excellent craftsmanship and terroir of this well respected estate. Presenting a deep, intense purple red colour. A tempting melange of scents: ripe black currants, juicy black cherries and dark plums mix with subtle hints of violets and a hint of cedar wood, giving the bouquet an elegant touch. An array of beautiful flavors. The fruit aromas are intense and well structured, accompanied by a rich palette of spices such as cloves, black pepper and a hint of aniseed. The use of high quality oak barrels gives the wine additional complexity, while the silky tannins ensure remarkable smoothness.
