A luscious, full and rich wine, with red Compote of berry fruit nicely rounded by chocolate and coffee notes. The tannin structure is round and soft with a lingering aftertaste. Vergelegen (meaning “situated far away”) has over 300 years of history, but their philosophy is simple: "There must be harmony between the old and the new."
