The Skeleton Bay Chenin Blanc has an attractive bouquet of fragrant clover blossoms and subtle tropical notes. Aromas that also permeate the fresh and soft palate, where they combine with lush nuances of pear and exotic tropical fruit. A Chenin of remarkable balance!
Grapes were picked early morning from an 1961 old vineyard in Paarl, whole bunch pressed and the juice was allowed to settle overnight. Barrel fermentation completed in old Burgundy barrels & aged on primary lees for 9 months.
