A classic yet approachable expression of Pinotage from Spier Wine Farm in Stellenbosch, combining ripe fruit, gentle spice, and smooth structure. This is a modern, well-balanced Pinotage that highlights South Africa’s signature grape in a clean, food-friendly style.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, and dark berry fruit are layered with hints of smoked spice, cocoa, and subtle earthiness. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, juicy fruit, and a soft, savoury finish.
Winemaking
Careful fermentation and controlled oak maturation bring depth and complexity while preserving freshness and varietal character.
