Fish Wives Octavia's Sinfull Secret Chenin Blanc

Octavia’s Sinful Secret is a rich and seductive South African Chenin Blanc from The Fishwives Club Boutique Winery, made from carefully tended old bush vines that naturally produce small, intensely flavoured grapes. The result is a beautifully concentrated wine that combines generous ripe fruit with freshness and an intriguing savoury edge.

On the nose, expect ripe pear, wild honey and delicate notes of straw, leading to a rich, rounded palate layered with succulent fruit, gentle spice and a subtle earthy complexity. Despite its depth and richness, the wine remains wonderfully fresh and remarkably easy to drink.

"I wanted to find a Chenin Blanc that stood out from the crowd — and Octavia’s Sinful Secret certainly does that. From its wonderfully playful, artistic label to its rich, expressive style, this is a wine with plenty of personality and a story to tell.

It’s also part of our wider mission to build the Fishwives Club brand in Ireland while introducing more wine drinkers to the incredible quality and diversity of South African Chenin Blanc. We believe Chenin deserves a much bigger audience here, and wines like this are a fun, approachable way to get people discovering just how good South African Chenin can be.
