A refined and expressive single-vineyard Chardonnay from Stellenbosch, crafted in honour of Mrs. Elizabeth “Kitty” English, a pivotal figure in Lanzerac’s early history. This is a Chardonnay of precision, texture, and quiet confidence — layered rather than showy.
Tasting Notes
Bright aromas of lemon zest, white peach, and ripe pear lead into subtle notes of toasted almond, vanilla, and delicate oak spice. The palate is elegant and beautifully balanced, combining creamy texture with fresh acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish.
Winemaking
Made from carefully selected Stellenbosch fruit, the wine is fermented and matured in French oak to enhance complexity while preserving freshness and varietal purity. Oak is integrated and supportive, never dominant.
