One of South Africa’s most recognisable Shiraz styles, this "Chocolate" Shiraz is known for its plush texture, generous fruit, and subtle savoury complexity. Despite the name, this is a dry, well-structured red with depth and balance.
Tasting Notes Aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and plum are layered with notes of black pepper, spice, and a gentle cocoa nuance. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with soft tannins, juicy dark fruit, and a rounded, lingering finish.
Winemaking Careful oak maturation enhances the wine’s natural richness and adds complexity without overpowering the fruit, resulting in a polished and approachable style.
