A refined, layered expression of South African Chenin Blanc from one of the Cape’s most historic wine estates.
The 21 Gables Chenin Blanc is crafted from mature vines, delivering depth, texture and quiet confidence in the glass. Aromas of ripe pear, yellow apple and quince are complemented by subtle notes of honey, toasted almond and gentle spice. The palate is beautifully balanced — generous fruit, a creamy mouthfeel from time on lees, and fresh acidity that carries through to a long, elegant finish.
Partial barrel fermentation adds complexity without overwhelming the fruit, resulting in a Chenin that feels polished yet approachable. It’s a wine that sits comfortably between freshness and richness, making it equally enjoyable on its own or at the table.
