Complex and layered aromas of fresh pineapple, candied fruit and honey on the nose with hints of yellow stone fruit and fresh lime. Moreish, full mouthfeel from the time spent in oak. The palate shows Tropical, citrus fruit flavours with pithy dry finish.
Given some time in the bottle, this wine will pair well with rich crustaceans or some lightly spiced dishes.
The finish is long and refreshing.
The fruit for this Chenin Blanc is sourced from vineyards planted in 1978 in the Swartland. The vines are planted on a south-east facing slope and are dry farmed, yielding small thick-skinned berries. The soils are predominantly koffieklip (decomposed granite and iron-rich clay), known for producing rich and concentrated wines.

Placed our first order with Rainbow Nation Wines earlier this week, and have to say I am super impressed with the process. Quite a big order with some single and double selections as well as a couple of cases. Smaller order arrived after 2 days via An Post, and the larger order of the cases is out for delivery today with DPD.

I have used RNW for a few years now and never been disappointed about my orders. Steve is sourcing many wines, new wineries on a regular basis, at different price points , always good quality. You can even ask for some specific wines and they will try to source them for you! The ordering and delivery process is seamless . Thank you Steve and team!

Amazing selection of wines. I have ordered from them twice now and the wine arrived before the estimated delivery day, and very well packaged. And I should mention the great pricing for premium wines.
