Tasting Notes
Deep and complex aromas of blackcurrant, ripe plum, and dark cherry are layered with cedar, tobacco, graphite, and subtle spice. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with concentrated dark fruit, polished tannins, and beautifully integrated oak leading to a long, savoury finish.
Winemaking
A carefully composed blend of Bordeaux varieties, fermented and matured in French oak to build complexity, structure, and longevity. The wine is made with ageing in mind, yet shows impressive balance and approachability in its youth.

I think I may have discovered my new favorite Bordeaux blend, just when I thought that DeToren’s Fusion V could not be bettered… this wine is amazingly balanced which is a real tour de force when it comes to big bold flavors. I could not recommend it enough if you like Bordeaux blends, it was a recommendation from the team at Rainbow wines and wow what a recommendation !! You won’t be disappointed in any way. Enjoy it
The 2018 tasting notes in the description above are bang on so is the Vivino rating.
We have tried many SA red blends and this is the very best.
A red blend is often the holy grail of SA wine producers.We visited many vineyards in the Cape and often had to tell white lies when “their” Bordeaux was tasted.
Powerful dark berry fruit, balanced and lovely aftertaste. Will keep for years, if you can.
