A dry white wine that hails from South Africa's acclaimed Stellenbosch region. Crafted exclusively from Semillon grapes, carefully selected and handpicked from the estate's oldest vines. This wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, which imparts toasty vanilla aromas, while preserving fresh citrus and floral scents. On the palate, it's dry and full-bodied with a balanced acidity. It is a rich and complex wine that showcases the exceptional quality and pedigree of Vergelegen Estate. Vergelegen (meaning “situated far away”) has over 300 years of history, but their philosophy is simple: "There must be harmony between the old and the new."
